Introduction and Brief History of the Institution Our Institution is a local self governing body following Indian Traditions, That too this Institution has became popular as it highlights the"Mahajan Tradition" of the gujarati culture. The Main objective of the Institution is to do welfare of the general society and to provide lessons of culture and human rights through the transmission of education. The Institution works on such ethical thought process. Shri Manilal Mehta Sir, the Father of secondary Education in the year 1914 (Who at that time was based in Godhra) was a well known Educationist in the Panchamahal's District, ignited the flame of education for social development in Dahod. He started providing elementary education via his owned school named the "The New Highschool". However shree Manilal Mehta sir had to be given strong support from 1921 to 1944 by Dahod Anaj Mahajan. Finally the "The New Highschool" was takenover (purchased) and named "Dahod Anaj Mahajan Sarvajanik Education Society" in the
The potential benefits for the students are: Experiences to enrich mathematical learning. Better understanding of math objectives and power standards. There are equipment’s like Abacus, Base ten blocks, Geometric shapes, Board game laminated, Maths wooden products, Measurement, Number concept, Theorems etc. The maths lab has the potential to improve teaching practices through Model lessons.
The school has well equipped laboratory for Science which includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students are encouraged to use this lab to learn through experiments. Every year latest instruments, specimens, charts and models are purchased for the science lab.
Laboratory is very essential for teaching social sciences. As social science lab provides a quick and ready functional environment which merely provides theoretical but also practical knowledge. The S.S.T lab of our school is set up on the notion of functionality and has learning infrastructure.it provides the students to share their presentations it helps in creating and maintaining a much needed congenial atmosphere for effective learning. The permanent display of important Maps, Pictures, Charts, Models and constant reference to them by teaching is sure to make the teaching of Social Science effective, lively and interesting.
